Veterans Suicide and Crisis Response Team

Veterans who are dealing with suicidal ideations and need or want to connect to a fellow brother or sister Veteran can now call our 24- hour crisis line and discuss their frustrations, issues and stresses to ease their depression. The number to call is (435) 938-2087 and someone will be on the ready to respond. The Crisis Response Team will respond swiftly with resources in order to prevent suicide. We are here to help.


Homeless Veterans Transition Program
This program provides supportive housing services to include temporary transitional housing options while advocating, mentoring and improving housing stability:

  • Temporary shelter assistance provided   
  • Aligning partners to support "One-Time" assistance
  • 1 week/ 7 days along with 30 days contractual case management assisting in breaking barriers to homelessness
  • Applications for any and all services through Federal, State, Local and Non-Profit support
  • Outreach efforts identifying those requiring assistance
  • Community supportive services
  • Mentoring assistance


Cache Valley VA Clinic Supports

We help complete Primary Care Transfers to the new VA Clinic which is located at the Cache Valley Hospital, 2380 North 400 East, North Logan, Utah 84341. Their number is (801) 582-1565 ext 6800. You must add the extension in order to connect to the clinic directly.


Rural Veterans Outreach and Services

Provide services to rural Veterans outside the Cache Valley Community with benefits, enrollments and services for VA health and mental health care needs. This includes the areas of Oneida County and Bear Lake County Idaho. Our services will assist with Veterans Services Officer support and Chapter Officer Support.


Honor Guard Services

The Dan Gyllenskog Veterans Resource Center is working with several funeral homes and the VA along with the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Marine Corps League to assist in military honors and services for those who have passed.


Operation Veterans Rebuild

Assisting Veterans with disabilities through accommodations and services to help improve their quality of life. These services include assisting Veterans with Wheelchair ramps, outdoor cleanups, and indoor projects such as handrails. Most of these projects include a community support system such as local hardware stores, community non-profits and local Veterans agencies such as the VFW, Marine Corps League, etc. This is a service that brings many fellow Veterans together to serve each other when needed. Community Events and Outreach Services

We do hold various large events such as the Michael J. Allred Ride, Ride for the Fallen, Freedom Fest Veterans Memorial Traveling Wall, Homeless Outreach Event, Veterans Group Night and much more.
